Thanks for mention - full link is: http://ruscombegreen.blogspot.com/2009/05/build-bee-house.html Or todays date at: http://ruscombegreen.blogspot.com I greatly enjoyed making my bee house and plan on several more for my small garden.
Hi M. I was a bit suprised to hear from you and with a current life update. I am working on a couple of honey bee hives. They are part of a larger self sustaining food plan we are trying to implement. I have taken to the philosophy of eating within a 50km radius of your home, better quality fresh produce as well a local economic stimulus, with the emphasis on self sustainable production. I have planted a number of fruit trees and berry bushes that will compiment the honey bees and, hopefully, give me back a greater yield of produce. Trees and bushes take a bit of time to mature but I am in my third year of this plan and should start seeing some benefits shortly. That is the short and long of my bee reasoning. I must say though the honey bee is an amazing creature and the contact time I have had with local bee hives has really inspired me to put my own Apiary together. I'll keep you updated. I sounds like you have adopted a green philosophy toward living as well. I do believe there is a movement afoot and you and I are just two wee cogs in the push toward a sustainable future. Keep spreading the good word. Greg PS It really was good to hear from you
